San Diego Chargers Schedule
The Bolts have reached the halfway point of the 2005 NFL season. A 28-20 win over the Kansas City Chiefs last Sunday evened their record at 4-4 and the Bolts find themselves a half-game out of second place in the AFC West behind the Chiefs and two games following division-leading Denver. San Diego will embark on the second half of its schedule with a cross-country trip to face the New York Jets on Sunday, Nov. 6 at The Meadowlands. They’ll put the ball on the tee at 10 a.m. PST.

|
The Chargers have a bye following Sunday’s game vs. the Jets. New York (2-5) meantime comes into the game off their bye. It is the fourth team in the last five weeks the Chargers will face coming off of a bye. The only team in that stretch not impending off a bye was the Chiefs last Sunday, but Kansas City had two extra days to prepare for the Bolts as their game the previous week in Miami was moved up two days due to the threat of Hurricane Wilma.
The Chargers and Jets have a long past that dates back to 1960 when the Chargers played in Los Angeles and the Jets were identified as the Titans. It’s San Diego’s first trip to New York to play against the Jets since 1994.
This weekend’s trip to the East Coast is the third of five that the Chargers will construct this season. San Diego will fly 2,425 miles to face the Jets. CBS is transporting Dick Enberg, Dan Dierdorf and Armen Keteyian to New Jersey to cover the game, which will be showed on TV to 39 percent of the country.
